Jan­u­ary 22, 2011. Colleen mod­eled for a very large group last Stau­r­day morn­ing. I sit in a camp char fac­ing the stage and was sur­prised to see hopw many peo­ple kept trick­ling in as the ses­sion pro­gressed. 38 peo­ple attended this ses­sion. These are sketches work­ing with Ariel, a great fig­ure model here in Port­land. She has a won­der­ful grace and is a joy to draw. India is the model for this month’s long term pose at Hip­bone. It’s nine hours over three ses­sions. She has a small frame with café olé skin tones and the most enor­mous amount of hair. She holds a great pose and it very fun to draw. I spent most of my time ren­der­ing her coif­fure. I hope Jeff books…
