Long Term Pose

We had our first long term pose at the Rivoli last evening, Stan the Man, the model and I did a 30 min and settled into this pose for the remainder of the three hours.
We started with a sitting pose, then Stan suggested that we put the model on a folding card table. I had my doubts that the thing would hold but she made it though with no problem at all. I’ve never been a fan of reclining poses and this one was no exception. I drew it twice, wiped it out, drew it again and finally got it on the third round. I had little time left to work on the modeling so I concentrated on the background and the props instead. It has a nice French poster kind of feel and I’m happy with the results. Not bad for the first long pose.
